Larry wrote in a letter:

My boat is a 14' DD 1156 runabout. I believe the boat is probably a 1949 model. In 1950 AeroCraft went to a 15" standard transom height. Before I raised and strengthened min to 15 1/2" this one was 13 3/4"

I've run motors from 5 to 40 HP on mine. 5 or 6 will plane the boat, however it can be a handful above 35 MPH.

At June 18, 2011 Milton "NH Kickoff to Summer Event. The NELG (New England Lyman Group), AOMCI, and NEC-ACBS were all invited. Local AOMCI members outnumbered the rest and all had a great time showing and running their boats.
