Runs great just had it out on the lake last weekend for a day of skiing and tubing. Very economical on fuel. I have done a lot of upgrades over the past 2 years. I bought as a starter/project boat to see if I like boating. Now I'm ready to upgrade to something newer and bigger. This would make a great boat for fishing or water sports. The previous owner used it as a fishing boat for Lake Erie. He is a certified mechanic and went throw the motor of the boat to make it reliable for Lake Erie 5-8 years ago. He had the head rebuilt by a local machine shop, new head gasket, spark plugs, cap, points, spark plug wires, rebuilt starter, rebuilt alternator, and new water pump for motor and lower unit, exhaust hose. Since I have had it I have done a lot of upgrades as well.
New floor and engine compartment
New carpet
New seats
New battery less than a month old
New cover and support pull and straps less than a month old
Fresh oil filter change
Fresh gear oil changed in lower unit
New belt
New 10 ply tires and tubes less than 200 miles on them
Bearings were new 5-8 years ago I have repacked them since then
This boat has always been winterized and since I have had it I always stored it inside for the winter. This boat is excellent shape and running condition for the age. That being said it does have some issues. Some paint is peeling off of the bottom which is just cosmetic. The oil pressure gauge isn't working I think it just needs a new sender. It also has some scratches on it. It's very hard to find a running boat in this condition for the money. I will entertain offers and maybe a trade for a four wheeler or 4 wheel drive truck let me know what you have. I do have muffs we can put on the boat to run it in the drive way. Serious buyers I can arrange a time to put it in the water for a test drive. I just bought stickers this year (exp 2014) which I can sign over for you to transfer. I also have a spare lower unit I can thrown in with the deal!
Thanks for looking!
