Canoe, aluminum 15' by Browning Marine - $360 (South Haven)
Solid older 15 foot aluminum canoe manufactured by Browning Marine. The model is the Navaho 15ft. It is rated for maximum horsepower 5 if you want to put a motor on it for trolling. It is rated for 4 persons and can hold 3 people easily. The maximum person capacity 635lbs, Maximum weight capacity (person, motor & gear) 715lbs. It is light, wide with a level hull. It is much more stable than the canoes with rounded hulls.

The assembly of the canoe is of great quality and lightweight for its size group. It's wide body design is held together with aircraft fasteners, AN470AD-6 to be exact. These are very heavy duty rivets with a shear strength of 26,000 PSI and tensile strength of 38,000 PSI. The aluminum skin seems thicker than what is found on new canoes. The canoe is very solid.

We have owned this canoe for over 30 years. Great for fishing lakes and rivers. But we haven't used it for the last 10 and decided it was time to let another family enjoy it. The seats need to be re-woven. The seats are of lawn chair nylon webbing. They are cool and comfortable, don't collect water and are easily replaced. It has some minor scratches and dings but nothing more than usual use. It has no leaks. 2 paddles included.

Based on the prices of aluminum canoes, I've priced this to sell.

This is from the NADA price book:
Founded following the Second World War, Aerocraft and the Browning Aerocraft Marine company quickly rose as a leading supplier of aluminum boats to the United States market. In later years, the Browning Aerocraft Marine/Aerocraft expanded production to include fiberglass hulls. The Browning Aerocraft Marine company was saved by Faqua in 1974 though soon experienced a tough economy as well as a factory fire contributing to the downfall of the boat builder. Browning Aerocraft Marine began liquidation in late 1979 with the final boats built for the 1980 model year.
